The most important thing I learned this summer was how to avoid stress. Life can be stressful, especially as a high school student. It’s important to learn how to manage that stress before it gets to be unbearable. And that’s what I spent my summer doing! I went on lots of long walks by the beach and through the woods. When necessary, I reached out to family and friends for advice. I spent time getting in touch with my passions too. I did some volunteering related to art and started a blog for my poetry. I’m proud of how I took care of my mind and body this summer.
