Victoria Lamoureux is a senior at Vestal High School. She’s also editor-in-chief of Bearfacts! As editor-in-chief, Victoria edits all articles and works that go through Bearfacts with production manager Ana Sargent. She also writes the scripts of Bearfacts promotional videos and puts them up online.

According to Victoria, she has learned a lot from Bearfacts. Since she joined the club last year, Victoria has gained valuable experience from working with others as editor-in-chief and reflecting on writing from a diverse group of people.

Victoria’s position as editor-in-chief is more of a passion project for her. She works hard to keep Bearfacts running, as editing is a time-consuming and taxing task. Though she admits her position has helped with applications and resumes, Victoria suggests that others should first consider genuine interest before aiming to become an officer.

After graduation, Victoria plans to attend Tufts, possibly majoring in psychology. As for her advice for aspiring and current members of Bearfacts, our editor-in-chief hopes that Bearfacts writers will explore the topics they are interested in, both in and outside of school.
