Hi! I’m Deya Rashid, a junior at Vestal High School and a writer for Bear Facts. One of my favorite pieces I’ve written is “The Life of an Only Child,” where I share my perspective and experiences growing up solo. In my spare time, I love spending time with my friends, listening to music, and watching documentaries! Being an only child has made me very family oriented, and I really value the close connections I have with the people around me. I’m excited to continue writing and sharing more stories through Bear Facts!
