Miss Miller is a new science teacher at Vestal! When speaking to Miss Miller, she was very kind and gave in-depth and well-thought-out responses. Vestal is her first time teaching at a large school. She’s had to adapt quickly to the new conditions, but states that the students made her feel welcomed and have been very kind. She also felt the staff have been incredibly welcoming and helpful. When asked about something that she has learned from her time at Vestal, she responded that teaching strategies have been a learning curve because it can be hit or miss for students. Setting boundaries was also a challenge to overcome and learn. The students helped make her transition easier. My impression of Miss Miller was incredibly positive due to her radiant kindness. Students can easily talk to and approach her because she’s not difficult to connect with. Additionally, she gave this advice: There’s going to be bad days; however, you should cherish the positive ones because they make everything worth it.
