Something, more like someone, I am thankful for is my mom. When I say she is a strong woman who has tons of patience within her, I mean it. When my brother was around 4, he was diagnosed with Autism. At first, this broke her, but instead of just giving up on him she put her whole heart into raising him right, regardless of him being neurodivergent. Not just that, but she also takes care of her mother. She began living with us around a year ago, and she could’ve easily made the decision to put her in a nursing home. But no, that’s not the type of person my mom is. She is a strong woman who doesn’t give up on her family, and always makes sure we are okay and well-loved. She does a fantastic job on that. Not a day goes by where I felt unloved or uncared for by her.
