Lila Condie is a senior at Vestal High School and the current secretary of Bearfacts! As our secretary, Lila’s responsibilities are organizational in nature. She takes attendance and records notes at our weekly meetings. Lila doesn’t often write articles, typically preferring to focus on managerial tasks. Outside of school and Bearfacts, she enjoys reading, crocheting, and art.

After graduation, Lila plans to attend Alfred University, majoring in studio art and minoring in art education. Although her time in Bearfacts has not directly affected her long-term goals, she is grateful that she had the opportunity to work in an environment where thinking and collaboration take precedence.

Lila advises aspiring Bearfacts journalists to push past the fear of presenting themselves to an audience.
