Everyone knows about AI, and I don’t want to be too controversial, but it can be used for good things despite all the negativity surrounding it. One such example is the video game Suck Up! This game incorporates AI into the main storyline to add depth and enhance its entertainment value. Suck Up! It is a game where you play as a vampire, and you have to go around a neighborhood, breaking into houses to devour everyone. To do this, you need to disguise yourself as other people using accessories and props that you either find around the map or steal from those you’ve devoured. But make sure you aren’t caught by the cops, who roam around the streets searching for vampires such as yourself. The best part about this game is that each response and conversation you have with one of the characters is unique and different from others. This is because each character has its own unique AI to formulate its responses, allowing for each experience and character to act and speak differently from each other. The game also allows you to use a mic to speak to the characters, meaning you don’t have any given choices that you have to choose from for responding to the characters. This, coupled with the dozens of different accessories and props you can put on your avatar, allows for infinite possibilities of conversations with the characters. Another feature is creating your own public avatar, allowing other people to use it, so if you’re ever having trouble coming up with a new avatar, then check out other people’s avatars, possibly igniting your own imagination. If it gets boring going around to houses and talking to the different characters, then try out one of the other two game modes that the game features. Suck Up! Currently has three game modes that the player can choose from: MIC DROP!, Cupid’s Quiver, and normal. Normal, as explained previously, is about going around a neighborhood trying to convince people to let you into their houses. MIC DROP! is a gamemode about having rap battles with the characters, utilizing your creativity and imagination to its fullest in a battle of rhymes and tunes. The third gamemode is Cupid’s Quiver, a gamemode that is still in development, but the finished parts so far are focused on things such as love and heartbreak. Once completed, this gamemode will hopefully bring yet another new wave of inspiration to the game. Since this game is focused on being a vampire trying to devour others, it’s a great game to play with your friends and family for Halloween! Play now to enjoy the endless possibilities of designing your avatar, having intense rap battles, and experiencing the rollercoaster known as love.
