Christmas time, a time of peace and relaxation… for some. There was another domestic dispute between a female and a 49-year-old male. An unsuspecting daughter comes to pick her mother up, only to be faced with the wrath of an unsuspecting male. He attacked her viciously with his fists and a BB gun before threatening both the daughter and mother with said weapon. This aggressive man fought with the deputies verbally and physically, and he was not cooperative with authorities. The mother of the daughter was seen to have injuries all over her face. I suppose violence doesn’t stop, even in a time of goodwill and peace, how depressing. In his mug shot, he appears with raggedy grey hair and a long beard. Charges faced were as follows: Assault in the Second Degree, a Class D Felony, Assault in the Third Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, Menacing in the Second Degree (With a Weapon), a Class A Misdemeanor, Reckless Endangerment in the Second Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, Resisting Arrest, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Obstruction of Governmental Administration in the Second Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor according to MSN.com.
To sum up the various “degrees” that he was charged with, it all comes down to downright violence. This case could be related to mental health issues, as those who are on drugs or struggling internally tend to make rash decisions. This brings into perspective the utmost importance of taking care of oneself and always reaching out for help if you or someone you know is struggling. As mentioned in previous articles, domestic violence is no joke. A situation can go from 1 to 100 in 60 seconds. Never be ashamed to reach out. Ever. That’s all for this month’s article, happy new year, and I’ll see you at the next crime scene!
