Welcome to the December Monthly Music Department Update! This is your writer, Matt Zahirovich, back with more exciting news about what’s going on Behind The Curtain! This month’s news is chock full with the holiday spirit and even more exciting info!
Upcoming Performances:
The Vestal Concert and Chamber Orchestra will be holding their Winter Concert this Thursday, December 12th 2024. They’ll be performing a collection of both classical and more contemporary pieces during this performance. It’ll be held in the Vestal High School Auditorium, and all staff and students are welcome to attend!
The Vestal Voices will be performing their Winter Concert on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024. They’ll be performing a repertoire of songs from all across the world, and they’ll be joined by the Bear Necessities who’ll be having their second performance this year. It’ll be held in the Vestal High School Auditorium, and all staff and students will be welcome to attend!
The Vestal Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Wind Ensemble will be performing on Tuesday, December 10th, 2024. They’re performing a mix of groovy musical wonders and smooth elaborate melodic numbers. It’ll be held in the Vestal High School Auditorium. Once more all staff and students are welcome to attend!
Music Trip Information:
The Vestal Musical Department’s trip to Williamsburg Virginia has some exciting updates! The Famous Gertrude Hawk Chocolate Fundraiser is live! You’ll be seeing chocolate bar salesfolk roaming the halls looking to sell chocolate, it’s the classic collection of peanut butter, crispy, dark chocolate, caramel, and milk chocolate that was seen last year. A wonderful selection of chocolates for $3 a bar! (Chocolate is legally not to be sold during school times so be sure to buy your chocolate legally!)
