My holiday traditions in my case are the usual. I celebrate Christmas at my mom’s in the morning, then at my dad’s in the afternoon or the day after. With my mom, my brother and I get up bright and early, eager to unwrap our presents. When we were younger, usually we would wait for our grandparents to arrive. But, since my grandmother lives with me, we now have the opportunity to open our presents earlier than previous years. After that, we eat breakfast, hang out at my mom’s for a bit, then head over to my dad to do the same. We open our gifts, but of course instead of eating breakfast we usually eat lunch or dinner, depending on how late we arrive at our dad’s. After that, instead of heading back to my mom’s, we spend the night with our dad. It’s not really interesting or over the top, but the little things are what matter to me in this case.
