Hannah Salim joined BearFacts this year and is the How-To Columnist. Every month, she picks a topic that she thinks is important for people to know how to do, and she writes the steps she takes in those situations. She’s written step-by-step explanations for topics ranging from being kind to dealing with leftovers. Each article is informational while also keeping readers engaged and entertained.
Hannah’s favorite memory at BearFacts is when she attended a meeting focused on teaching students how to interview people. She enjoyed the experience of being on both sides of an interview. Hannah believes that being a part of BearFacts has benefitted her in developing new skills and preparing her for future endeavors. Specifically, learning how to write about her own experiences helped get her ready for the college application process where admission is based on a description of all the extracurriculars and achievements a student has.
Hannah encourages everybody to join BearFacts because of all the life-long skills it has taught her. For anyone currently in BearFacts, she reminds you to let the officers and Mrs. Benjamin know if you’re going to be missing an article!
