To ensure students arrive at school on time and safely, Mr. Dale Frisbie acts as the School Bus Route Coordinator. Frisbie is a Vestal Alumni, (class of 1984), who has been involved in the community as a volunteer firefighter since 1983. On a typical day, he is in charge of making sure all students from all schools arrive at their appropriate destinations on time. He is also responsible for communications between parents, staff, and drivers. This proves to be quite a tedious task as Frisbie is responsible for ensuring drivers arrive at all stops, adding new students to bus routes and giving them bus stops, and setting up busing for extracurriculars. The only thing that Frisbie asks of students who want to help make transportation run more smoothly is to be respectful of drivers and be responsible for their belongings. Additionally, he says it is essential for students to arrive at their bus stop 5 minutes early so the bus does not have to wait. Thank you, Mr. Frisbie, for all that you do for students!
