Dear Friend: How do I cope with times of change by finding peace?

Riley Barr and Addison Kalina

Hi Friends!
It seems like almost every year of highschool you have to prepare for something new, especially as Juniors and Seniors. As Juniors ourselves, we are trying to figure this out, as we enter our senior year. But we do have some advice on how to handle Junior year!
As everyone already knows, Junior year is one of the hardest years of high school. This isn’t meant to be a stressor but more of a reminder. During the summer enjoy your relaxation time and don’t stress too much. Go into Junior year with the mindset that you will always try your best, and that is good enough. No matter what grades you get or how you do on big tests, you will have success in your life. So, enjoy the time you have even when it is stressful.
Juniors, we are all in the same boat. The idea of being Seniors is both exciting and terrifying. Going into this summer, we should try our best to be proud of ourselves for getting through Junior year, as well as looking ahead to our next step. Start thinking of colleges that have a major you’d be interested in, but don’t stress too much about it. It will all work out the way it is supposed to.
Seniors, the thought of being in your shoes in only 14 months invokes many feelings. We wish you the best of luck on this new journey and we are excited to see you embark on this new chapter of your life.

We hope you find something relatable and relieving in this article. At the end of the day it is best to know we are all in this together.
