This year, I hope to manage my time better. I am a notorious time-waster, which, combined with all my different goals, leads to me not accomplishing everything I want to. Sometimes I just don’t have the time, other times I am overwhelmed, and even sometimes I am lazy. I can fix this in numerous ways. I can create schedules and reasonable task lists or learn how to take short and sweet breaks. However, I don’t want to overwhelm myself. Rather I am going to try to do just a few things at a time. I have never planned out schedules for myself, so I don’t know how effective the act will be. But I know the potential benefit, so I will try and see. Each week I plan to pick two major things that I want to do and one bigger overarching achievement I hope to reach. Finally, I plan to take 15-minute breaks every 90 minutes while working at home. These are all likely to change in some way, as my goals almost never work out the way I initially imagine them. I look forward to being more productive with all my goals, so I can be more prepared for college.
